The problem we saw

A commercial cleaning company in Hyde Park, Johannesburg held a contract at an office building for three years. Reliable team, professional service, never a missed day. Then a property manager sent a single complaint email alleging that bathroom standards had declined. The cleaning company responded immediately — increased frequency, proposed a meeting, did everything right.

The landlord terminated the contract anyway. The cleaning company could not prove the work had been done. No photos, no timestamps, no service records. A verbal defence against a written complaint. Eight people lost their jobs.

This is not an unusual story. It happens across South Africa every week. Cleaning companies do the work, but when a dispute arrives they have nothing to show for it. The companies that win are not always the ones delivering the best service — they are the ones that can prove their service when it matters.

We started Lymra because we believed that problem was solvable. Not with more paperwork, not with complicated software, but with a simple system that captures proof at the point of service and makes it available the moment it is needed.

Cleaners log evidence from their phones as they work. Owners and managers see it in real time. When a client queries the service, a complete evidence report can be generated and sent in under a minute. Every feature exists for one reason: to make sure a cleaning company never loses a contract for work they actually did.
