Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Lymra platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lymra (Pty) Ltd ("Lymra", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Service description
Lymra is a proof-of-service platform for commercial cleaning companies. The Service enables cleaning companies to capture, manage, and share verified evidence of cleaning work performed, including timestamped photographs, GPS data, checklists, and professional proof reports.
The Service includes a web-based management dashboard and a mobile application for field staff. Features and functionality may vary by subscription plan.
3. Account registration and security
To use the Service, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Each individual must have their own account. Sharing accounts between multiple people is not permitted. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.
4. Subscription and payment
- Free trial — new accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Service. No credit card is required to start a trial.
- Billing — subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Plan changes — you may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
- Failed payments — if a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a grace period of 7 days. If payment is not received within the grace period, your account may be suspended.
5. Data ownership
Your data belongs to you. Lymra does not claim ownership of any data you upload, create, or generate through the Service, including but not limited to:
- Photographs and cleaning evidence.
- Proof reports and documentation.
- Employee records and staff data.
- Property and site information.
- Checklists, templates, and operational records.
You grant Lymra a limited licence to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of operating the Service. This licence terminates when your account is closed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
7. Service availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis.
- No formal SLA (Service Level Agreement) is provided on standard plans.
- Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible.
- The mobile application is designed to work offline, with data syncing when connectivity is restored.
- We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- Lymra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by you to Lymra in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that it will be error-free.
9. Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice.
- We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for material breach of these Terms.
- Upon termination, your data will remain available for export for 90 days. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted.
- You may request an export of your data at any time during the 90-day period by contacting support.
- Termination does not relieve you of any obligation to pay outstanding fees.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Johannesburg, Gauteng.
